getting to budaveg
> the easiest way is to tick airport pick up,
so I collect you at the airport and can give you detailed
info about Budapest on the way.
>there
is a brand new train link between Ferihegy
Terminal 1 and Nyugati railway station. It takes
half an hour and goes roughly every half an hour, the cost
is 300 hufs. From Nyugati the budaveg vegetarian
apartment is a 10 minute walk. If you arrive to Terminal 1 (all low cost flights) I recommend you taking this train, it is quick and cheap. Make sure you buy your ticket in the terminal building!
>Budaveg works with a very reliable taxi driver, Csaba
who collects you at the airport and takes you to the
flat for 5000 huf.
>You
can take a taxi from the airport, Zona Taxi is operating with fixed prices, there is a queue sometimes. For up-to-date prices check their website.
>It
takes around an hour an a half to get to budaveg by public
transport. Take the airport bus in front of the terminal
till the other destination and change there to the blue
metro. Get off at Lehel Ter station. Make sure you buy tickets
in advance and punch one on the bus and the second at the
entrance of the Metro.
